Preparing your child for the path ahead

Two way immersion, also called Bilingual immersion, combines language in the classroom. The idea is to get two types of speakers proficient in both languages. We embrace a learning environment that will prepare your child for the path ahead. Our classes incorporate traditional learning styles as well as hands-on Montessori experiences. As a year round Bilingual Academy we provide a rich and diverse environment for children ages 2-5 years old.

IIMA offers a program that incorporates an environment with small class ratios. We are aligned with state standards for public school. Our program offers a more individual attention, improved student safety, better student discipline and is almost one-half the size of most public school classes! IIMA students will be introduced into the world of science, creative arts, math, and language development.

Our program offers a more individual attention, improved student safety, better student discipline and is almost one-half the size of most public school classes! IIMA students will be introduced into the world of science, creative arts, math, and language development.

Curriculum Overview

Preschool: 2-4

Our Preschool teachers present the work through hands-on materials that engage the child. It is also the Teacher’s main goal to help children develop their full academic potential. The teacher establishes the “prepared environment,” which encourages, challenges and rewards the curious nature of the child.

PRE - K:

Our Teachers give each child an individual lesson plan on a bi-monthly basis. The plan provides a direction for the child and allows the teacher to guide the student in the concepts he/she need to review and learn. The lesson plan and environment may be changed based on each child’s ability to accept direction, independence and other special needs. Every Student in the classroom have work responsibilities, this allows the class to run efficiently. Our teachers act as role models, and guides. Our main goal is to interfere on the students work as little as possible in order to help students develop their academic potential.

IIMA Summer camp includes 10 action packed weeks full of fun & learning. You may choose Summer 1, summer 2 or both! Each week will include a different theme!

Enrichment Program: COMING SOON!

At IIMA we know the many benefits of cooking for children.  IIMA will soon offer cooking activities based on fun, but also learning cultures from different countries. Each month will focus on a theme or recipes from a different country while expanding our world and our palates!
